Who We Are

“Forging Solutions Underground”

Snatch Mining Industries designs, manufactures and installs productivity-enhancing products for underground mining at any reef width, conventional or mechanised — principally chrome, platinum and gold. Where the mine's contracting model allows, we run the contract mining teams that use them.

We are not a reseller. Every product in our range was invented, engineered and built by us, so lead times are ours to control and a change found on a panel this week can be in production the next.

Safety is the first design constraint. Every product is designed to remove an unsafe condition rather than warn against it — the Drill Jig cannot be operated where support has not been placed, and the Snatchblock lifts the rope off the footwall so it stops failing under tension.

Our contract mining division is where products are proven, on a real contract against a real production target, before they reach your shaft.

More about us
We Do What We Say

What each product saves

The spend comes first and the saving follows — that judgement sits with the mine, so every product here is described by what it puts back on the panel, in figures you can weigh against your own.

Implementation & support

Every product comes with a month underground

Mining products fail on implementation far more often than they fail on engineering. We do not hand over a crate. We put a qualified instructor on the shaft for a full month, working your shifts alongside your crew, until your own people are trained and qualified as operators. Installation is a morning; implementation is the month that follows.

How implementation works
Week 1Install and commission, Engineering sign-off
Weeks 2–3Your crew trained and qualified as operators
