The problem, and what changes

Until the Corner Pulley, a scraper could not be taken around a 90° corner. The turn was where cleaning stopped: material built up, restricted scraper movement, damaged air and water services and eventually held up production, and the only answer was another winch on the other side of the corner. This is not a refinement of an existing method — it is a capability that did not exist. The Corner Pulley gives the rope controlled, stable guidance through the turn, so one winch cleans multiple panels around it, gulleys are established from the first blast in ledging, and production carries on through the corner instead of stopping at it.

There is no “before” clip to put beside this one: until the Corner Pulley, a scraper could not be taken around a 90° corner at all. The turn was simply the point where cleaning stopped.

Left- and right-hand snatch blocks on a 1 150 mm spreader beam, both swivelling in both directions. Integral toolbox.
